TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Cancellations:
Please give at least 24 hrs notice for cancellations, all cancellations will be refunded by the method paid. If you fail to cancel by giving the minimum notice required, the money will not be refunded instead can be carried over to the next visit. Unless such cancellation is caused by severe weather, death in the family or a medical emergency. If Purrfection Pet Sitting Services can’t make the appointment due to illness, bad weather or unforeseen circumstances, Purrfection Pet Sitting Services will contact you first and then contact your emergency contact.
Extensions:
If you require additional days after agreed schedule, please phone or email, Purrfection Pet Sitting Services. A separate invoice with the additional charges will be sent, please pay this within 10 days of your return date.
Incidents:
The health and safety of your animal is Purrfection Pet Sitting Services prime concern. Purrfection Pet Sitting Services do not know all your animals habits and rely on you to tell me everything about your animal that may lead to an incident where your animal is injured or causes an injury or damage to another. If such an incident happens because you did not tell me everything or because of something outside of my control than Purrfection Pet Sitting Services will not be responsible for any resultant loses.
House Cleanliness:
Purrfection Pet Sitting Services will clean up after your pets to the best of my ability. Please inform me of the designated area for the appropriate cleaning supplies. We request that you provide plastic bags, towels, cleaning products, paper towels and bin bags.
Privacy:
All CCTV cameras must be fully disclosed to your house prior to the booking. This includes
devices fitted to the exterior of a property or doorbell that monitor security of the outside areas such as the porch, driveway and garden.
Visitors:
Please let Purrfection Pet Sitting Services know if anyone else is expected to be coming to the property during the period, i.e. friend, relative, workmen and whether or not they have their own key.
Dog Walking:
It is your responsibility to have an identification tag on a dog collar. A temporary ID tag will be used with Purrfection Pets emergency details either attached to existing collar or on a separate collar provided. No more than 6 dogs will be walked at the same time. No dog may be walked that shows any signs of any type of aggression. Purrfection Pets Sitting Services cannot walk, sit and visit any dogs or crossbreeds of dogs classified under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991.
Medication/Vaccinations/Immunisations:
Purrfection Pet Sitting Services will follow instructions to administer medications as directed but cannot be held responsible for complications that arise as a result. weare not able to administer injections. It is your responsibility to ensure that your pets are up to date with their flea and worming treatments.
Extras:
Any extra items that are brought for your pet whilst you are away e.g. food, visit to the vets will be invoiced to you on your return, please pay this within 10 days of your return.
Payment:
Invoices will be sent by email in person before work commences. Payment is required before the first visit date and can made by cash or bank transfer. Cheques not accepted. Where payment is not received, Purrfection Pet Sitting Services reserve the right not to proceed with any previously agreed arrangements.
Key Collection:
Purrfection Pet Sitting Services will collect your keys during the Meet and Greet session, when you fill out the paperwork. Keys are always kept safely and are coloured coded. Purrfection Pet Sitting Services will not give keys or access to your property to anyone else - unless agreed by you first. The keys will be kept for future visits or they can be left in a secure place / or with a neighbour / local contact if required. Purrfection Pet Sitting Services can leave them inside the house but will not be responsible if you are delayed and need to enter the house for future visits. If keys are collected after the Meet and Greet session, there will be a small charge of £5.
Injuries:
All instructions will be followed regarding your requirements for your animals and your home. The utmost care of animals will be taken, but if an occasion arose that your animal was taken ill or injured whilst in my care, Purrfection Pet Sitting Services may feel it necessary to get immediate treatment from your vet, or the local vet, depending on the nature of the situation .
A £10 fee will be charged for every visit to the vets, a separate invoice with this additional charged will be emailed to you, please pay this within 10 days of your return.
Purrfection Pet Sitting Services will not be responsible for the payment of the veterinary bill and will let the veterinary practice know to invoice you.
In the event of a medical emergency, Purrfection Pet Sitting Services will attempt to contact you by phone.
Repeat Custom:
If there changes to the information you provide at the Meet and Greet, please inform at your earliest opportunity. A yearly check will be done to cover this and you will be asked to sign and date the Terms and Conditions.
